Tips on Oral Hygiene to Prevent Dental Problems

Oral health is not only important to your appearance and sense of well-being, but also to your overall health. Maintaining good oral health includes keeping teeth free from cavities and preventing gum disease.

·         Brush every morning and night with a fluoridated toothpaste.
·         Brush all your teeth, including the ones at the back of the mouth, for between 2-3 minutes
·         Use dental floss to clean between teeth
·         Restrict the intake of sweet and sticky food and food with high sugar content. Try to restrict sweet food to mealtimes.
·         Rinse your mouth after eating
·         Visit your dentistry regularly
